We started our day with a trip to the grocery store. On a typical trip to the store, Leyton and mommy make a first stop at the deli counter for a slice of his favorite Colby Jack cheese. This morning, we picked up our slice of cheese and set out on our spree for groceries. Today, though, Leyton was not in the cheese mood for some reason. Leyton's absolute favorite part of a grocery trip is the return home when it is time to unload the bags. One by one, he loves to help us unload and put away the groceries.
Mommy and daddy decided today was the perfect day to clean out and reorganize the cabinets - always a fun chore! We found some real treasures in the deepest depths of the pantry: a box of corn starch that expired in Oct. 2005 and a cannister of Carnation drink mix that expired in....(drum roll, please)...Aug. of 2004. Whoa!
