After the Elmo show, we went with Hannah and her parents to Loose Park. It was sunny and 61 degrees, and all Hannah and Leyton wanted to do was play outside. The park was as crowded as I have ever seen, and it was a frenzy of kids running around together. Leyton and Hannah loved the slides. Went up and down them over and over again. The dads took a few rides down the slides as well. Pretty out of control!!!
While we were there, Leyton was climbing up the stairs to the top of the slide and bumped into a little boy just about his size. When they caught eyes, the two just stared at one another as if they knew who the other one was. Really funny. Turns out, they did know each other. It was Cooper from Leyton's class. Daddy and mommy visited with Cooper's parents for a bit. Leyton thought it was cool to see one of his school buddies at the Park.
After about 20 more trips up the stairs and down the slide, it was time to go. Leyton and Hannah hugged and kissed good-bye. Cutest thing in the world. It was a great day!
Oh buddy!!! You had a big day!!! Looks like you and Hannah had a blast at Elmo and the Park! Grandma and Papa told me today that you may make a trip back to St. Joe sometime soon! I would love to see you. You look like you are getting big!!! LOVE the haircut, by the way!
