Reading at THE REPTILE

     Mommy and I went to our favorite bookstore this morning, The Reading Reptile.  We really went to see the kitty cats, but when we got there, we found out that the kitties were upstairs sleeping.  Since there was a birthday party in progress, the kitties were not allowed to come and see me.  I was sad.  But, mommy and I decided to play and read some books anyway.  I met a girl and a boy named Patrick.  I played dinosaurs with Patrick, and I read with the little girl who told my mommy to get up out of her chair and sit on the floor.  I thought that was pretty funny :)

     Mommy bought me a book called Mop Top.  It is about a little red-headed boy with a floppy mop top of hair on his head.  Mommy read the book to me and said that the boy in the book reminded her a lot of me.  

     I love The Reading Reptile, and I hope that next time we go back - the kitties will be there for me to play with.
