Last week was a busy one, and it brought its share of craziness. We started the week out with some nice weather. Mommy came home on Wednesday after work to find daddy and Leyton playing in Annie's backyard (next door neighbor) with Charlie and Jack. Charlie is 4, and Jack is in 2nd grade now - does that make him 8, I guess? Leyton was hanging out with the "big boys" and playing on the swing set in the Moren's backyard. Shortly after I pulled in and said hello to Charlie and Jack, we headed back over to our house to get ready for some dinner. Leyton had a total melt-down and refused to come inside. After we managed to get him in and after hearing 5 minutes of solid screaming, we decided it was fine to let him have "10 more minutes" (Leyton's infamous line!) of outside time in our own backyard. The picture above is a sad and pitiful little boy who kept saying "I want to play with Charlie" and who kept repeatedly trying to open the gate to "play with Charlie."
I have a feeling that this is only a sneak peak of what summer is going to be like! Ha!
